Excitement ran through Nepal as over a hundred Maatma Marga gurus suddenly appeared in the streets of Kathmandu on the 25 April, 2016, marching barefoot to announce their new mission.
Well wishers from Nepal and foreign countries lined the streets with flags, cheers, khatas and refreshments. People young and old ran to get a closer look at the new gurus whose blue Maitri robes are striped in yellow and red and who will live and work in local communities throughout Nepal.
